This fall, the "Ferris State Friday's" segment will be presented again by Crankers Restaurant & Brewery with locations in Grand Rapids, Big Rapids and Mount Pleasant.

Bulldog football head coach Tony Annese will be the first featured guest and recap the Bulldogs' season opener on this coming week's "Ferris State Friday's", which airs on Friday (Sept. 2). It continues a partnership with WBBL, which formerly ran the segment as part of its morning sports show the past three seasons.

"This is an outstanding opportunity to build on our partnership with WBBL and allow fans across the state to hear from our coaches on The Huge Show Network," said FSU Associate Athletic Director Jon Coles.  "Huge is one of the most listened to sports talk show hosts in the Midwest and we're thrilled to partner with him as we continue to elevate our brand."

The Huge Show airs weekdays from 3-7 p.m. (ET) and can also be heard live online atwww.wbbl.com.  The show, which is hosted by longtime sports broadcaster Bill Simonson, has been on the air for more than 12 years on flagship station 107.3 WBBL.

WBBL is owned and operated by Cumulus Media and Mediaspan.  The station regularly covers high school, collegiate and professional sports across the state with featured shows such as The Huge Show, Jim Rome, Dan Patrick and others in addition to live game coverage.

The partnership with WBBL for "Ferris State Friday's" is part of a continued and expanded broadcast effort established by FSU Athletics,  which began with its flagship home of the Bulldog Sports Network, Sunny 97.3 FM, in Big Rapids.  For the sixth consecutive year, Sunny 97.3 FM will again carry Bulldog football and hockey along with men's and women's basketball contests and other selected action in 2015-16.  All games are also streamed live online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
