Bio

Ferris State University Athletics announced the appointment of Keeley Glonek as an assistant athletic trainer for the Bulldogs prior to the 2018-19 season. This year begins her fourth season working with the Bulldogs.

Glonek arrived at FSU following a two-year stint as an assistant athletic trainer at NCAA Division II Post University (Conn.).

Glonek brought a variety of experience to her position at Ferris State. During her two years at Post University, she served as an athletic trainer for the volleyball, women's basketball, tennis and track programs where she has helped ensure the health and safety of student-athletes. Along with her tenure at Post, she also worked with the Varsity Spirit Corporation as a camp administrator providing on-site care and evaluation of injuries.

Before moving to Post University, Glonek worked as an athletic trainer for Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists from 2014-16 where she served as a full-time athletic trainer for two different high schools. She was also an athletic trainer for Sylvania City Junior High Schools in Ohio from 2012-15.

Glonek completed her undergraduate work at Bowling Green State University, earning a bachelor's degree in education before going on to receive her master's degree from Post. She worked on the athletic training staff at BGSU as a student, helping with the softball, hockey, basketball, football, track and cross country programs. In addition, she completed an internship at the University of Toledo Medical Center's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center and was a trainer and first responder for several other events including the Special Olympics, University of Michigan Summer Camps, the Ultimate Frisbee Tournament and for the Toledo Reign Women's Professional Football team.

A certified athletic trainer who is also licensed in CPR/AED and first aid, Glonek is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association along with the National Society of Leadership and Success. She's also held membership in the Great Lakes Athletic Trainer's Association in addition to state associations in Michigan, Ohio and Connecticut in her career. Glonek works primarily with the Bulldogs' volleyball along with men's basketball and softball teams.
