The Ferris State University Athletics Department announced the appointment of Michael Przydzial as the school's new athletics camp coordinator in April of 2018 and he transitioned into the Coordinator of Athletic Event Operations and Special Projects in August 2018.

Przydzial most recently served as the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation at Northern Arizona University since 2014 and recently began his duties at FSU. He formerly competed as a student-athlete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as a men's basketball standout at Grand Valley State University and returned to West Michigan following more than three years at NAU.

As the camps coordinator, he directed and managed all of FSU's sports camps for the 17 varsity program during the summer of 2018. In his role as the Coordinator of Athletic Event Operations and Special Projects, he will oversee all gameday operations for Bulldog home events.

While at Northern Arizona, Przydzial oversaw business development and operations while providing leadership to the department of campus recreation with oversight of five program areas including sports clubs, intramural sports, outdoor adventures, summer camps and field complex management. His efforts helped generate nearly $200,000 in revenue, resulting in exceeding budget projections significantly.

As the assistant director at Northern Arizona, he supervised and evaluated three full-time employees, 70 part-time workers along with mentoring more than 80 student leaders. Przydzial also monitored and managed three departmental budgets totaling $600,000 per fiscal year. His efforts leading a restructuring process of the outdoor adventures program resulted in a big savings in operational expenses.

Przydzial also coordinated an intramural program consisting of over 50 leagues and events per year with more than 6,000 participants and 530 teams. The sports clubs program he helped manage was comprised of up to 40 nationally-recognized collegiate teams and had over 800 participants. Additionally, he scheduled all activities and events for three programs between five on-campus facilities as the coordinator of competitive and recreational sports along with summer camps.

Prior to his tenure at Northern Arizona, Przydzial was a graduate assistant for club sports at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he oversaw operations for 30 club sports and more than 1,100 interested competitors. His abilities helped drive social media traffic more than 575% over two years and he also facilitated various community service drives. He also was an athletic department marketing intern and an intramural sports official while with the Razorbacks.

As a collegiate men's basketball player at Grand Valley State, Przydzial was a two-time team captain and earned GLIAC All-Academic Team recognition. He was also a member of the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He went on to serve for two years as a men's basketball coach at the Northland Prep Academy in Flagstaff, Ariz., and also was a basketball class instructor at Northern Arizona.

Przydzial earned his bachelor of science degree in physical education with an emphasis in sports leadership from GVSU in 2012 and later received his master's degree in recreation and sports management from Arkansas in 2014. He served internships with the Club Sports program at Grand Valley State along with the Detroit Pistons Camps and Clinics program at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Prior to his collegiate career, Przydzial was a prep standout at West Bloomfield High School under head coach Larry Moore. Along with basketball, he competed in track and field. He earned all-state accolades on the hardwood and was a nominee for the 2007 Michigan Mr. Basketball Award along with being a McDonald's All-American nominee.

The Michigan native has been heavily involved with various organizations and committees during his professional career, including serving as the head of various search committees while at Northern Arizona and as a presenter at the Sports Clubs Symposium in St. Louis. He was the director of the All-Tournament Committee at the Region VI Flag Football Tournament for two years among his many other duties.
