FSU Cheer Team Claims National Bid & Awards

Big Rapids, Mich. - The 2012-13 Ferris State University athletics season is just getting underway, but already the Bulldogs are achieving success.

The FSU Cheerleading team recently came home from their annual preseason summer camp with several awards.  They placed first in their division for rally routine and claimed second place in the gameday category.

Additionally, the squad won a silver bid to the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals, which are slated for April 10-14, 2013, in Dayton Beach, Fla.  A total of only five schools claimed gold and two earned silver bids.
