Had a competitive spring . . . Continues to improve and learn the collegiate game . . . Battling for playing time . . . Could see action in a special teams role . . . Making a good adjustment to the college level . . . Redshirted in 2009 . . . A 2009 graduate of Muskegon High School . . . Coached by Tony Annese at the prep level . . . Also took part in track, powerlifting and the swim team . . . Tallied 18 solo stops and 15 assisted tackles as a prep senior . . . Also finished with six interceptions . . . Honorable Mention all-conference pick . . . Voted team's Most Improved Defensive Back . . . All-Area honorable mention choice . . . Helped Muskegon to a 14-0 record, a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 State Championship and a national top five ranking . . .
