Ferris State Football Inks Five-Star Recruit Keegan Bulk!

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University football added to their remarkable 2013 signing class today when they inked local five-star recruit Keegan Bulk from Fremont, Mich.
Keegan put pen to paper on his NLI, ending one of the longest and most publicized recruitments of one of the state's top players.
Keegan is listed as an athlete, and has the ability to line up at several different spots on offense and defense, including quarterback.
"I've heard a lot about Keegan Bulk and finally pulled up his highlight tape to see with my own eyes that Keegan is the real deal. I really hope he doesn't want to play QB because I will probably lose my job," said returning starting QB and GLIAC Freshman of the year Jason Vander Laan.
Sophomore CB Damonta Madden said, "I'm excited, it's not every day you bring in an athlete that can contribute on both sides of the ball and be one of the premier college football players in this state since Charles Woodson. If he chooses to play defense, opposing teams are going to throw at me a lot more because he can lock any WR down with ease. They won't throw to his side anymore."
Sophomore Antonio Agurs had quite an interesting take of Keegan's addition to the Bulldogs: "Man I'm from Florida, everyone here is saying he is the best player in Michigan this year and what not, but truth is, he would be the best player in Florida too."
The lead recruiter in the process to get Keegan, special teams coordinator Jack Schugars, had this to say: "Anytime you do an in home visit with a prospect, and Coach Dantonio is walking out when you are walking in, and Coach Hoke is walking in when you are walking out, it causes some sleepless nights hoping he chooses you. This is the first time in about three months I can finally rest, but I still have to recruit him to my side of the ball too, the kid kicks 60 yard field goals like they are nothing. It's incredible."
The addition of Keegan Bulk is sure to fill at least one hole for Head Coach Tony Annese.
"One hole? We added the best Offensive AND Defensive player around with just one National Letter of Intent. He fills two holes for sure, and most importantly, is one of the finest young men I have ever been around," said Annese.
The Bulldogs open the season at home against Lake Erie on Sept. 14, and all eyes are sure to be on young Keegan Bulk and the impact he has on this team as they strive for a GLIAC and national championship in 2013.
