Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced ticket information  pertaining to home contests for the 2014 fall sports season, which includes FSU football, volleyball and women's soccer action.

Bulldog fans can currently purchase both season and individual game tickets for all five Ferris State football home contests this fall, which includes a pair of premium games versus Grand Valley State and the homecoming matchup against Findlay at Top Taggart Field.

Season tickets are on sale now and an individual season ticket allowing admittance to all five home games is only $45.  The Division II Pass for Two, which includes admittance to all Bulldog sports except hockey, is being offered again for $150 and includes access to more than 50 contests throughout the year. In addition, chairback seats are available for all individuals who purchase a Bulldog Athletic Association membership thru the FSU Gridiron Club at a $250 giving level or above.

Fans will receive a significant discount for purchasing single-game football tickets in advance again this season.  Adult single-game tickets are $9 in advance or $12 on gameday for general admission seating for all non-premium contests, which includes the final three home games against Tiffin (Oct. 11), Lake Erie (Nov. 1) and Northern Michigan (Nov. 8).  Meanwhile, FSU faculty/staff and seniors (ages 65 and up) are $8 in advance or $12 on gameday while students in grades K-12 are $6 in advance or $8 on gameday. All Ferris State students are admitted free with a valid student ID card.

Two premium games are also on this year's fall home slate, including the home-opening Anchor-Bone Classic versus rival Grand Valley State (Sept. 20) and the homecoming matchup against Findlay (Oct. 4).  Premium game prices for adults, FSU faculty/staff and seniors are $12 in advance or $15 on gameday while students K-12 are $8 in advance or $10 on gameday.

Ticket prices for FSU's home volleyball and women's soccer regular-season contests in 2014 will remain $5 for adult general admission or $3 for faculty/staff, seniors (65+) and students (age 3-12th grade).  All volleyball and soccer tickets are sold only on gameday at the entrance to the facility.

Football tickets can be purchased by visiting the FSU Athletics Ticket Office inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex or call (231) 591-2888 for more information.  Single-game tickets can be purchased thru Star Tickets by calling (800) 585-3737, online at www.startickets.com or via the FSU Athletics Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ferrisathletics. Ticket office hours will vary during the summer months.

Those wishing to purchase football chairback seats should call Athletics Advancement Office Will Goode at (231) 591-3818.

Ferris State's average football season and single-game ticket prices both remain below the average for teams in the GLIAC and purchasing in advance represents an affordable price over the gameday rates.  Several league member schools charge more than FSU's $45 football season ticket price, including Ohio Dominican ($60) and rival Grand Valley State ($84).  In addition, the Bulldogs' advanced single-game adult rate for non-premium games of $9 remains at or below the price offered at most other insitutions such as GVSU, ODU, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan and more.

Expectations are high for all three Bulldog teams this fall, including football, volleyball and women's soccer.  The Bulldog football team is coming off a 8-3 season in 2013, which marked the school's first eight-win campaign since 2006 and only the second in the last 16 seasons. FSU narrowly missed receiving the school's first playoff bid in 17 years and also beat rival GVSU to hold onto possession of the Anchor-Bone Trophy for the second-straight year.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog volleyball program won the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championship to reach the NCAA-II Elite Eight under head coach Tia Brandel-Wilhelm last fall. The Bulldogs closed the memorable campaign with a 25-9 overall record while reaching the national quarterfinals for only the third time in school history and first time since 1989.

Finally, the Ferris State women's soccer team reached the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Semifinals for the second consecutive season in head coach Andy McCaslin's debut campaign last fall. FSU wrapped up the 2013 season with a 9-8-2 overall record as the Bulldogs posted back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in school history and reached the league tournament semifinals for only the third time in the program's 15 years. Last year marked Ferris State's fourth consecutive conference tournament appearance, which is the longest stretch in school history.

The fall season will begin with home action starting in early September. For complete game schedules and ticket information, please visit www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
