Special Ferris State Alumni Association Tailgate Planned Prior To NCAA National Semifinal In Missouri

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Alumni Association has announced plans for a special tailgate this Saturday (Dec. 10) in Missouri prior to the Bulldogs' NCAA Division II National Semifinal game against Northwest Missouri State in Maryville.

The Bulldogs and the Bearcats will kick off at 3:30 p.m. (ET) with a berth in the NCAA Division II National Championship Game on the line.

Bulldog fans planning to attend the game are invited to a pregame tailgate to celebrate the Bulldogs' championship success and cheer the team on as they battle the Bearcats in the national semifinals.

The tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. (CT) in lot #1 on the Northwest Missouri State campus. The lot is located at the corner of Munn Avenue and West 3rd Street.

Burgers, brats, snacks and beverages will be available for guests to enjoy at no cost while supplies last. The stadium gates are slated to open at 1 p.m. (CT) or 90 minutes before kickoff.

Fans are encouraged to register for the tailgate online at the link below, which also includes additional information on tailgate policies, tickets for the game and more.

Ferris State, which beat archrival Grand Valley State 47-32 on Saturday to claim the Super Region Four Championship, will be taking part in its second-ever NCAA Semifinal. The only other trip to the semifinals by the Bulldogs came in 1995 when FSU fell on the road at North Alabama.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championship Game set for Saturday, Dec. 17, in Kansas City.
