Three FSU Players Earn All-GLIAC Honors
Big Rapids, Mich. - Three Ferris State University basketball
players have received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference (GLIAC) laurels for the 2009-10 season as the league's
annual postseason awards were announced on Thursday (March 4).
The FSU men's team had two players recognized as junior
forward/center Justin Keenan earned All-GLIAC
North Division honors for the second consecutive campaign and
junior guard Darien Gay was a second-team
divisional choice for the second-straight year.
Meanwhile, junior forward Tiara Adams of the
FSU women's team claimed All-GLIAC North Division Second Team
laurels and was also tabbed to the GLIAC North Division
All-Defensive Team in women's basketball.
Keenan was also honored as the GLIAC Men's Basketball Player of
the Year, becoming the first FSU player in 20 years to receive the
prestigious award.
The awards were voted on by the league's member head coaches and
announced in conjunction with the conference's annual postseason
tournaments.
