Big Rapids, Mich. - Media coverage plans have been announced by the Bulldog Sports Network for the Ferris State University men's and women's basketball games in the quarterfinal-round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament on Wednesday (Feb. 29) evening.

Local radio station Sunny 97.3 FM, in conjunction with the Bulldog Sports Network, will broadcast the fifth-seeded Bulldog men's basketball team's road contest at number four seed Michigan Tech live from MTU's Student Development Complex Gymnasium.  Rob Bentley will call the play-by-play action starting with the Meijer Pregame Show at 7 p.m. (ET) from Houghton.  Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. (ET).

In addition to Sunny 97.3's live broadcast, a free live audio feed of the men's game will also be streamed online by the Bulldog Sports Network at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com.  Michigan Tech University will provide video on a paid subscription basis.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog women's basketball team's home quarterfinal versus seventh-seeded Findlay at Jim Wink Arena will air online only via the Bulldog Sports Network.  There will be no local radio coverage due to conflicting game times.  Dan Kowalski and Sandy Gholston will provide internet coverage for the game, which tips off at 7 p.m. (ET).  In addition to free live audio, fans also have the option to purchase the video pay-per-view webcast at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

Additional media coverage plans will be determined later this week should either Bulldog team advance in the conference tournament.
