Bio
Hughes was an all-state pick in Illinois after averaging 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The Springfield Southeast prep star received all-conference laurels and was an all-tournament team pick at the Decatur Turkey Tourney for head coach Lawrence Thomas. Another solid performer in the classroom, he played AAU hoops for the Illinois Irish under coach Gavin Sullivan and has tallied a career-high 33 points in a game.
