The 6-4 wing totaled 13 points, four assists and nearly two steals a game last season for East English Village where he helped lead the Bulldogs to a district championship and Detroit Public School League East Division crown. An academic honor roll pick, he has scored 50 points in a game and is presently ranked 20th overall in the state of Michigan by Inside Prep Sports.
Last season, McFadden guided East English Village to a 20-5 mark and the team was ranked as the preseason #2 team in the state in Class A under head coach Juan Rickman, who formerly competed against FSU head coach Andy Bronkema when both were collegiate basketball players. He picked up the squad's Blue-Collar Award and also played for 1Nation at the AAU level.
