Ferris State Men's Basketball To Host GLIAC Quarterfinal Game Tuesday

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball team will host a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament quarterfinal-round contest on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Jim Wink Arena.

FSU will be the number one seed for the conference tournament and square off against eighth-seeded Hillsdale on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. (ET).

Ticket prices for the league quarterfinal are $8 for adults or $2 for all students older than age five, including college students with identification.

All seats are general admission and no regular-season passes of any type such as the Division II Pass for Two or the Bush Insurance Cards will be accepted per league tournament regulations. All Rebounders Club members must also purchase tickets for postseason play per GLIAC policy.

The first 100 FSU students with a valid ID card will receive complimentary admission courtesy of FSU's Administration and Finance Division along with a FREE t-shirt on Tuesday night starting one-hour prior to tipoff or while supplies last.

Four quarterfinal-round games will be played on Tuesday with the winners advancing to the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals and Finals on Saturday and Sunday, March 4-5. As the number one seed, the Bulldogs would host the league final four next weekend with a quarterfinal-round victory.

The winner of the GLIAC Tournament receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament slated to be held March 11-14 at a campus site yet to be determined.

The Bulldogs, who won the GLIAC Regular-Season Championship this year, are the back-to-back defending conference tournament champions heading into this year's tourney. FSU is currently 24-4 overall this season and posted an 18-3 mark in league regular-season action.

Quarterfinals - Tuesday, Feb. 28
#8 Hillsdale at #1 Ferris State - 7 p.m.
#7 Grand Valley State at #2 Findlay - 7 p.m.
#6 Ashland at #3 Lake Superior State - 7 p.m.
#5 Wayne State at #4 Michigan Tech - 7:30 p.m.

Semifinals/Finals - Saturday & Sunday, March 4-5
at site of highest remaining seed following quarterfinals, times TBA
