Competed for the Northwest Warriors homeschool squad in the Indianapolis area, averaging nearly 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocks a game under coach Will Tolbert. Segall set a program record with 141 blocked shots, earning All-NCHBC Midwest Region First Team honors as his squad claimed a NCHBC 5A title and reached the squad's first national final four on the homeschool level. A left-handed, big-body shot blocker, he led his team to a 33-13 mark. He was ranked fourth overall at the center position in Indiana and listed in the top 50 across the state by Indiana Prep Hoops.
