2018 Ferris State Men's Basketball National Title Game Set For Radio Re-Broadcast

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University fans will have an opportunity to relive all the excitement of the Bulldogs' 2018 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship as local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network re-broadcasts the national title game.

The re-broadcast of the national championship game against Northern State (S.D.) will take place on Friday, May 29, with pregame coverage starting at 5 p.m. (ET) and tipoff set for approximately 6 p.m. (ET).

Fans can tune in live locally on Sunny 97.3 FM or at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

The voices of Ferris State Basketball, Rob Bentley (Play by Play) and Sandy Gholston (Color Commentary), called the action of the title game back on March 24, 2018, from the sold-out Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The nearly four-hour long re-broadcast will include the original one-hour pregame show along with the game action from start to finish followed by the postgame show.

Ferris State captured the school's first national championship and also matched the all-time NCAA Division II record for victories in a season during the 38-1 campaign. FSU topped Northern State 71-69 in the national championship game to cap the magical season at the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, finishing the year with 26 consecutive victories.

Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network carried Ferris State's entire postseason run during the national championship season.
