Men's Golf Sixth In GLIAC Preview Event

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team took part in the GLIAC Preview Tournament this past Saturday (April 28) in Elyria, Ohio.

FSU's lineup placed sixth overall of 12 competing schools with a single-round score of 312.  Ohio Dominican carded a 301 followed by Findlay and Wayne State, which both shot a 304 team score. 

Tyler Robinson and Trent Davison each led the Bulldogs as they carded scores of 76 to finish tied for 12th in the field.

Both Sam Stark and Luke Trocchio placed tied for 34th individually with an 80 on the day.
Finally, Chris Eaton tied for 45th with an 82 score.

Jacob Meek comepted as an individual in the tournament and was 71st with a 92 on the par 72 course measuring 6,736 yards.

The Ferris State men's golf team will be making its 10th NCAA Tournament Regional appearance in a row as the Bulldogs have earned a trip to Missouri for the 2012 Midwest/South Central Super Regional, which will take place May 7-9 at The Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Mo.
