Bulldog Men's Golf Tops Indianapolis In Dual Action

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team topped Indianapolis in a two-team dual on Friday (March 28) at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.

The Bulldogs and the Greyhounds faced off in dual action for the second-straight season and FSU shot at 289 team score to top Indianapolis by four strokes in the one-round event.

FSU's Ben Cook took medalist honors on the day with a four-under par score of 68 in leading Ferris State on the par 72 course.

Senior Trent Davison tied for third overall in the field with a one-under par 71 for the Bulldogs as each team had two players come in under par.

The Bulldogs' Chris Eaton and Sam Stark both shot a three-over 75 to tie for seventh in the field while Andrew Jared shot an 82, which was good for 13th in the field.

Zak Kiefer rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs with a 83 while competing as an individual in the field.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Sunday and Monday (March 30-31) as they take part in the Wisconsin-Parkside Spring Invitational, held at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind.
