Ferris State Golf Teams To Compete In GLIAC Championships Friday Thru Sunday In Ohio
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's golf teams will compete in the 2018 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships Friday thru Sunday (April 20-22).
The event will be held at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio, beginning on Friday and finishing on Sunday with 18 holes being played each day. This year will mark the second-straight year in which both tournaments have been held at the same venue at the same time.
The 2018 GLIAC Championships will consist of 54 holes as the teams will play one round per day. The low four of five scores will count towards the respective team score for each squad.

Overall, the Bulldog men's golf squad has captured 19 GLIAC Men's Golf Championships in school history while the women's team owns four league crowns to date.
The men will be first off on Friday at 8:00 AM in the first round followed by the women beginning play at 12:30 PM. Competition will alternate on Saturday with the women teeing off first followed by the men. Championship Sunday will feature the men's final round in the morning with the women completing the championships in the afternoon.
