Ferris State's Seth Terpstra Named GLIAC Men's Golf Athlete Of The Week

Big Rapids, Mich. - Senior golfer Seth Terpstra (Grandville) of the Ferris State University men's golf squad has claimed this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Athlete of the Week honor.

Terpstra notched his first career victory last weekend as he won a playoff for medalist honors at the 2018 GLIAC North Invitational hosted by the Bulldogs at FSU's Katke Golf Course.

Terpstra shot back-to-back 71's in the Bulldogs' home event and edged out Grand Valley State's Mitchell White in a one-hole playoff for the win. His performance helped FSU finish as the runner-up in the field.

The Bulldogs will next compete in the Findlay Fall Invitational set for Sept. 24-25 in Findlay, Ohio.
