Big Rapids, Mich. - A trio of Ferris State University men's golf standouts have received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors for the 2021-22 season as announced this week by the league office.

In voting by the league's member head coaches, FSU's Thomas Hursey (Suttons Bay) was one of seven individuals tabbed to the All-GLIAC First Team while the combination of Joshua Jeffords (Onsted) and Nathan Kraynyk (Buffalo Point, Manitoba) both earned honorable mention all-league recognition.

Overall, only a total of 19 student-athletes were honored as first, second or honorable mention choices this year.

This year represented the second consecutive year in which Hursey has claimed All-GLIAC First Team honors after previously garnering the same recognition in addition to being the GLIAC Player of the Year last season. It is also the fourth year in a row in which he's received all-league honors after being a second-team choice in 2019-20 and an honorable mention selection along with being the GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2018-19.

Meanwhile, Kraynyk earned all-conference honorable mention laurels for the third year in a row.

The trio helped the Bulldogs to a runner-up finish in the 2022 GLIAC Men's Golf Championships this year in Augusta, Mich. It marked the third-straight time in which the Bulldogs have finished either first or second overall at the men's golf championships.
