Men's Golf Off To Strong Start At Findlay Spring Invite Following Day One Action

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team got off to a strong start on Monday (March 27) in opening day play at the Findlay Spring Invite in Lexington, Ky.

The Bulldogs shot a 297 team score in round one and were at +10 overall for the second round when play was halted due to darkness. The teams will finish round two on Tuesday before hitting the links again for final round play.

FSU's Caleb Bond currently sits tied for first overall with a 68 in the opening round and he was even thru his second round, sitting at four-under par.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs' Adam Madzri was tied for 22nd in the field with Trent Barth tied for 84th, Daniel Shattuck tied for 87th and Shayne Beaufait in 92nd place.

Final day play starts at 8:30 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday at the University Club of Kentucky.
