Nationally eighth-ranked Bowling Green built an early advantage and withstood a big differential in total shots en route to a 4-1 triumph over Ferris State in Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) play on Friday (Feb. 13) night as the two squads opened up a league weekend set at the Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids.
