Bio

Freshman (2015-16 Season): A member of the NCAA Regional Final squad as well as the first WCHA Tournament Championship in FSU history...Saw action in one contest...Received a redshirt prior to the 2016-17 season.

High School/Juniors: The 5-11 forward competed for the Carleton Place Canadians during the 2014-15 season and totaled 11 goals and 31 assists for 42 points in 60 regular season games. Pefley also helped Carleton Place win the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) Championship and advanced to the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Championship. The Canadians finished as the runner-up in the finals of the 2015 Royal Bank Cup.

A St. Clair, Mich. native, Pefley starred as a youth player in the Compuware program in Detroit before moving to the high school prep level at the University of Detroit Jesuit Academy where he was an all-state pick and the league’s top scorer. He tallied 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in his first season with Carleton Place (2013-14) before adding five goals and four assists in 16 playoff contests.
