Freshman (2015-16 Season): Helped FSU to a NCAA Regional Final as well as the first WCHA Tournament Championship in team history...Appeared in 21 games during his freshman campaign...Finished with two goals and five assists for seven points...Scored first career goal on Dec. 11 at Northern Michigan...Had first multi-point game vs. Harvard on Jan. 1...Had two playoff points (both assists) in five playoff appearances...First playoff point came on March 11 vs. Northern Michigan...Assisted on Jared VanWormer’s first goal on March. 26 in NCAA Midwest Regional Semi-Final victory over St. Cloud State.

High School/Juniors: The 6-2 Recktenwald hails from Venetia, Pa., and played in the North American Hockey League with the Johnstown Tomahawks for two seasons…He reached the 40-point mark in 2014-15, potting 15 goals to go with 25 assists in 51 games…In 2013-14, Recktenwald had 21 points on 10 goals and 11 assists in 50 games.

Overall, he had 61 points in 101 NAHL contests and was selected for the 2015 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. The talented forward previously appeared in the 2013 North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) Top Prospects Tournament before his transition to the NAHL.
