Bio

FSU: Dressed in 36 games for the Bulldogs in 2017-18, had a freshmen class-best 10 goals and 18 points in his inaugural Ferris State campaign…tied for third nationally in game-winning goals (four)…first collegiate point was the game-winning goal on Oct. 7, 2017 vs. Western Michigan at Ewigleben Ice Arena at 7:37 of the third period...registered first multi-point game vs. Alaska Anchorage on Dec. 2, 2017…first multi-goal game came vs. Lake Superior State on Feb. 24, 2018…named Bulldog Freshman of the Year…two-time WCHA Player of the Week (Jan. 15 and Feb. 26).

High School/Junior: Played for Brad Patterson of the Youngstown Phantoms in the United States Hockey League (USHL). Was a teammate of fellow freshman Marshall Moise. Played 60 games in his only season in the USHL, finished with 15 goals and 15 assists for 30 points and was a +9. Spent parts of two seasons in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) prior to the 2016-17 season with the Amarillo Bulls and Springfield Jr. Blues. Played for the Oakland Junior Grizzlies from 2013-15.

Personal: The son of Dwayne and Traci Norris…born on May 25, 1997 in Lansing…lived in Germany until he was 14…Made USA National Camp in 2013-14 and 2014-15…went to high school in Oxford, Michigan…Intends to major in International Business…Nickname is Norry…Family has extensive hockey background…Father Dwayne played college hockey at Michigan State University from 1988-1992 and totaled 218 points on 105 goals and 113 assists, played 20 games in the National Hockey League for the Quebec Nordiques and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and played professionally in Germany from 1996-2007 where he served as the General Manager of Frankfurt Lions from 2007-20210…Brother of Dalton and Josh. Josh is a freshman on the University of Michigan men’s ice hockey team for the 2017-18 season.
