Ferris State Hockey Reserved Season Tickets Now On Sale!

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced reserved season tickets for the 2018-19 Bulldog men's ice hockey campaign are now on sale.

Fans can guarantee seats for all 20 regular-season home contests as the Bulldogs welcome a big slate of opponents to the Ewigleben Ice Arena for the school's 44th season of collegiate hockey in Big Rapids, which has been voted as one of the nation's top 10 college hockey cities. This year's home schedule features opponents such as Michigan State, Western Michigan, Michigan Tech and more. Overall, the 20 home outings are the school's most in more than a decade.

Seating is expected to be at a premium as the Bulldogs have officially posted more than 25 sellouts overall in the last five years and the "Dawg Pound" student section has recorded upwards of 100 consecutive regular-season home sellouts, making Bulldog Hockey one of the hottest tickets around.

"Bulldog Hockey fans provide an atmosphere that makes our arena one of the nation's toughest venues to play in for opposing teams," said FSU head coach Bob Daniels. "It's tremendously entertaining and our players realize how special it is to play in such a big time environment."

Adult season ticket prices for the 2018-19 season are $225 with seniors (ages 65+) along with FSU faculty/staff prices set for $205. A student ticket (age 3-17) is $115 with all current Ferris State student tickets sold for $99 with valid student identification. In addition, a season parking pass is available for $80.

Season tickets will remain on sale and must be purchased by Sept. 7 at 5 p.m. (ET). After that date, any unsold seats will be available for the general public to purchase once single-game ticket sales begin on Sept. 12. Forms have been mailed to all past season ticket holders, who are encouraged to renew and reserve their seats as soon as possible.

Fans purchasing season tickets will be allowed to pick the seats of their choice, see a savings of more than $100 versus purchasing tickets the day of the game, receive first-round WCHA playoff tickets should the Bulldogs host postseason action, earn the first opportunity to buy additional single-game tickets for premium games and will also be eligible for special in-game seating sponsored by Katke Golf Course.

All reserved season tickets must be purchased directly thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located in the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) at this time with extended hours being offered once the school year begins. The Bulldogs, who have reached the NCAA Final Eight three times since 2012, will embark on their 44th campaign this coming fall and again face perhaps one of the country's toughest schedules as they seek their fourth trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last eight years. This year will mark FSU's 41st season of NCAA Division I hockey.

The 2018-19 schedule is again highlighted by matchups against nearly every other in-state Division I opponent from Michigan, including non-conference showdowns against Michigan State and Western Michigan. Both will make the trek to FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena as part of home-and-home showdowns.

Along with the premier matchups against the in-state foes, the Bulldogs will also entertain challenging conference rivals such as Minnesota State, Michigan Tech and Bowling Green as part of a 18-game regular-season home schedule. The slate also features a pair of exhibition games, including hosting the U.S. National Under-18 Team in the opener on Oct. 6.

Since 2012, the Bulldogs have made three NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the NCAA Final Eight all three times. FSU has also won two conference regular-season championships along with capturing the WCHA's Broadmoor Trophy once as the league's Final Five Champion. Along with a Frozen Four berth and national title game showing in 2012, FSU also has reached the regional final and the final eight of the NCAA Tournament in both 2014 and 2016.
