Bio

2018-19: Played in 34 games for the Bulldogs in 2018-19 as a freshman…registered 12 points on five goals and seven assists…finished second amongst freshmen in shots on goal (60)…earned first collegiate point, the lone assist on Frankie Melton’s goal at 3:24 of the third period against Mercyhurst on October 19, 2018 in a 5-2 victory…scored first collegiate goal on November 3, 2018 at 15:48 of the second period in a 4-1 victory over Michigan State at Ewigleben Ice Arena…had one multi-point game on January 26 at Bowling Green State in a 3-0 victory (one goal and one assist)…finished even or better on the plus/minus scale in 21 of his 34 outings including a career-best +2 four times.

High School/Junior: Played for Coach Karlis Zirnis of the Shreveport Mudbugs in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), was a teammate of Frankie Melton in 2016-17 with Shreveport, and saw action with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League (USHL). Had 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 45 NAHL games in 2017-18. Played primarily for the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies prior to his time in Shreveport.

Personal: The son of Kelly and Shannon Transit…born February 26, 1999…plays forward, shoots left…intends to major in communications…native of Royal Oak, Michigan…played High School golf as a sophomore at Royal Oak High School…has a brother Ryan and sister Kiley…enjoys golf and water sports in his free time.
