FSU Picks Up Another GLIAC Win At Home

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team won its fifth Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) match in six tries this season as the Bulldogs dominated visiting Ohio Dominican in a 9-0 shutout on Friday (March 30) afternoon at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs improved to 10-6 overall and 5-1 in league action with the win over the Panthers, who fell to 2-11 overall and 1-4 in the GLIAC.

FSU swept the doubles round with the closest score coming by an 8-4 decision at the number two flight in securing an early 3-0 advantage following tandem play.

In singles competition, FSU won all six spots, which included four in straight-sets and two by a third-set tiebreaker.

The Bulldogs continue a four-match homestand as they host Lake Erie on Saturday (March 31) morning at 10 a.m. (ET) inside the Racquet & Fitness Center.
