Ferris State Men's Tennis Registers Unbeaten Performance In Day One Action At Bulldog Invitational

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State university men's tennis squad had a strong day of action as FSU opened its own Bulldog Invitational on Friday (Sept. 12) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs posted an unbeaten mark on the day as FSU claimed wins in all 12 of the doubles matches in which they had a team involved. Overall, Ferris State participants won 12 of the 15 matches contested in the event.

The Bulldog Invitational, which wraps up on Saturday (Sept. 13), also includes student-athletes from both Lake Superior State and Michigan Tech.

Ferris State had four pairings involved in the doubles action and all four teams posted a perfect 3-0 mark on the day.

The doubles portion of the competition was completed on Friday despite rain, which pushed the singles action to Saturday.
