Big Rapids, Mich. - Official sites and match times have been set for the 2015 NCAA Division II Men's & Women's Tennis Midwest Regional Tournaments, which will take place this weekend (May 2-3).

Both the Ferris State University men's and women's tennis squads received NCAA Tournament bids via a live selection announcement on Tuesday evening and the two teams will head to different locations for regional action this weekend.

The Bulldog women's team received its 20th all-time national tournament bid and its first since 2011 while the men's team earned its first berth in two years and will make its 19th all-time NCAA Tourney appearance. Both teams are guided by third-year head coach Chad Berryhill.

On the women's side, Ferris State is seeded seventh in the Midwest Region and will square off against second-seeded Indianapolis in first-round action on Saturday (May 2). UIndy was chosen to host one of the two Midwest Region brackets, which will take place at Center Grove High School. The winner of the opening round matchup will advance to face either third-seeded Drury (Mo.) or sixth-seeded Tiffin on Sunday (May 3) for the right to move on to the round of 16 set for May 13-16 in Surprise, Ariz. All match times in the Indianapolis regional will start at 2 p.m. (ET).

Meanwhile, the FSU men's squad drew the fourth-seed in the Midwest Region and will face fifth-seeded Southern Indiana in first-round action on Saturday at 4 p.m. (ET) at Drury's Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo. On the other side of the Midwest Region bracket in Springfield, host and top-seeded Drury will face eighth-seeded Lewis (Ill.) at 1 p.m. (ET) and the winners will then meet in the bracket final Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. (ET). The winner of the four-team event on the men's side will also move on to the NCAA-II round of 16 in Arizona.

The Bulldog men's team won this year's GLIAC Regular-Season Championship and finished as the runner-up in the league postseason tournament. This year's regular-season title marked FSU's first outright crown since 1994 and first regular-season championship since sharing the title in 1999. The Bulldog men are 17-6 overall and were a perfect 9-0 in regular-season action. This year represents the 16th time in the last 18 seasons in which FSU has advanced to the NCAA Tournament and the Bulldogs reached the regional final in their last appearance back in 2013.

The FSU women's team presently owns a 19-8 overall record this season and has won each of its last four contests and six of its final seven regular-season outings overall. The Bulldogs are 8-3 overall in spring competition on the heels of a 11-5 mark recorded in the fall. FSU's NCAA apperance this season will be its first in four years.
