Ferris State's Iswan Tabbed As GLIAC Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University junior men's tennis player Nur Adim Ramdani Iswan (Makassar, Indonesia) was recently chosen as this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Week.

Iswan led the Bulldogs to three dominating wins last week as FSU wrapped up its annual spring break trip with a perfect mark. He went 3-0 in singles action with all three victories coming in straight-sets while also winning all three of his doubles matches.

Overall, he was a perfect 6-0 overall. Two of his three singles wins came at the number one flight as he moved up the lineup the final two days at the Spring TennisFest tournament with the other coming at two singles.

Iswan also teamed up with senior Steward Sell to go unbeaten at the number one doubles flight. Their closest doubles contest was an 8-6 decision.

His play helped FSU post back-to-back 8-1 wins over Newberry (S.C.) and Davis & Elkins on Tuesday and Wednesday before wrapping up the week with a 9-0 shutout over Assumption as FSU moved to 9-2 overall this season.

Ferris State went 6-0 on the spring trip, including a 5-0 record at the Spring TennisFest.

The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, March 23, when FSU hosts Lewis (Ill.) in regional action starting at 10 a.m. (ET).
