Big Rapids, Mich. - Junior standout Pablo Munoz Baroja (San Sebastian, Spain) of the Ferris State University men's tennis squad has been tabbed as this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Week.

This past weekend, Baroja helped lead the Bulldogs to a weekend home split with the lone setback coming against nationally ninth-ranked Indianapolis in Friday action before FSU responded to beat Tiffin in regional action on Saturday.

Baroja went 2-0 in singles play, including the Bulldogs' only victory against Indianapolis. He won 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 3 singles against UIndy and 6-3, 6-3 against Tiffin. In addition, Baroja teamed up with Mathis Guerre to also record a 6-4 doubles win in the victory against the Dragons.

Currently, Ferris State is listed 26th overall in the Oracle/ITA Division II Men's Tennis National Rankings tabulated by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Ferris State will return to the court on Monday, March 11, as FSU opens its spring break trip to Florida against Rollins in Winter Park. Match time is set for 11 a.m. (ET).
