Nationally 12th-Ranked Palm Beach Atlantic Tops Ferris State In Men's Tennis

Big Rapids, Mich. - Nationally 12th-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic scored a 7-0 win over the Ferris State University men's tennis team in non-league action on Thursday (March 14) at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The hosts claimed all three doubles flights by idential 6-4 scores to take the first point of the match and then proceeded to win the six singles spots to claim the triumph.

While Palm Beach Atlantic won all six positions in the singles round, three of the six flights went to three sets as the Bulldogs battled the 12th-ranked squad in the country. FSU's Nur Ramdani Iswan and Pablo Munoz Baroja took their opponets to the final frame at the two and three spots in the lineup, respectively, while Ayush Deswal did the same at six singles.

The matchup for FSU was the Bulldogs' second this week against a team found in the top 12 of the national rankings.

Ferris State closes its annual spring break trip by visiting another strong opponent in Florida Southern on Friday (March 15) with match time set for 3 p.m. (ET).
