Ferris State Finishes Off Regular-Season In Impressive Fashion With Shutout Victory Over Davenport

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team closed the regular-season in impressive fashion on Saturday (April 13) as FSU beat West Michigan rival Davenport 7-0 at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs claimed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) victory with a shutout as they swept the doubles round and captured all six singles flights to garner the win.

The triumph was FSU's second-straight decisive win at home on the final weekend of the regular-season.

In the win over the Panthers, the Bulldogs utilized eight different players as part of the scoring rotation. Along with the three doubles wins, all six singles spots were claimed in straight sets.

Ferris State will next take part in the GLIAC Tournament slated for April 26-28 in Midland.
