Ferris State Track & Field To Hold Tryouts For 2017-18 On Sept. 7

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's track and field program will hold tryouts for the 2017-18 campaign on Thursday, Sept. 7, at FSU's Top Taggart Field. The tryout is scheduled for 3 p.m. (ET).

Requirements-

• Must be registered with the NCAA eligibility center and have a 10 digit ID number
• Freshmen must be a full qualifier with NCAA eligibility center, current Ferris students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and averaged 12 credit hours passed per semester
• Physical with in the last 6 months (paperwork)
• Sickle Cell waiver form filled out (proof of test)

Final roster will be determined by tryouts, academic standing, and available number of roster spots. Tryouts available to all running and throwing events. This will be the only tryout session for the 2017-2018 track and field roster.

Anyone interested in tryouts should email Coach Jared Kelsh ASAP with the required information and sign up for a Fall physical.
