Bio

A Florida native, Justin Jackson was a volunteer track and field coach at Ohio University, overseeing the sprints and jumps groups of the Women's Track and Field program. He helped coach many athletes to personal bests and focused on their development as players and people. Prior to his time at Ohio University, Jackson was a collegiate student-athlete on the Division II level as a track and field competitor at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie, Fla. He was a team captain and competed in the Peach Belt Conference in the 200 and 400 meters along with the triple and long jumps. 

He was named to two Peach Belt all-academic teams and is currently listed as third all-time in the triple jump at NSU. Jackson also served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at NSU, including being elected Vice President. He helped present opportunities for student-athletes to participate in community service and was a liaison between student-athletes and athletic department administration.

Along with serving on the FSU Track and Field staff, Jackson also works as the compliance and student-athlete success coordinator for Ferris State Athletics.
