In game two, the Bulldogs hit back-to-back solo homers in the fifth off the bats of Pettit and fellow senior first baseman Chelsea Morris to put the Lakers away.  They accounted for two of the Bulldogs' three earned runs.

Ferris State scored twice in the first, three times in the third and two more times in the fifth while limiting the Lakers to only a single run in the second frame.  Overall, both teams finished with seven hits in game two.
