Bulldog Softball Tryouts Slated For Sept. 9 At FSU Softball Field

Big Rapids, Mich. - Think you possess the skills to play softball at the collegiate level?  If so, opportunity awaits as the Ferris State University softball program will be conducting walk-on tryouts for the upcoming 2013-14 season on Sept. 9 at the FSU Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

The tryouts will be held starting at 5 p.m. (EDT).  Individuals will be responsible for bringing their own equipment, i.e. glove, cleats, etc. to the tryout.  Only Ferris State University students are eligible to participate in the try out.

A physical must be completed and all required paperwork must be submitted to the Ferris State Athletic Training Room prior to the tryout.  The Ferris State Athletics Student History Form Questionnaire below should be completed and returned to Dawn Thompson before the tryout.

Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the FSU Athletic Training Room, located in the lower level of the Ewigleben Sports Complex, to receive the required forms.

The FSU Varsity Softball Field is located directly west of the intramurals field.
