Ferris State's Two Wednesday Softball Games In Florida Rained Out

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University softball team had its schedule impacted by weather in the Sunshine State as the Bulldogs' two contests on Wednesday (March 12) at the Florida Rebel Spring Games were cancelled due to rain and wet fields in Winter Haven, Fla.

FSU was slated to face Concorida-St. Paul (Minn.) along with St. Cloud State (Minn.) in morning action, but both games were called after rain hit the area and neither will be made up.

With the two cancelled games, the Bulldogs are next slated to return to action on Thursday (March 13) tomorrow morning as FSU squares off against Southern Indiana at 9 a.m. (ET) followed by a matchup versus Maryville (Mo.) starting at 11 a.m. (ET).

Ferris State will then wrap up its annual appearance in the Florida Rebel Spring Games on Friday (March 14) with a morning contest against St. Cloud State at 9 a.m. (ET) and the finale versus Lees-McRae (N.C.) beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).
