Weekend Schedule Adjustment Made To Ferris State Softball Slate

Big Rapids, Mich. - A schedule adjustment has been made to this weekend's action for the Ferris State University softball squad due to weather.

The Bulldogs were slated to take part in the Midwest Region Crossover in Evansville, Ind., this weekend, but the event has been called off due to rain and expected wet fields.

While the event was cancelled, the Bulldogs are now slated to travel to Westfield, Ind., where they are scheduled to play four regional games on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 22-23) on turf fields at Grand Park.

On Friday, the Bulldogs will open action against Southern Indiana at 12 p.m. (ET) before facing Indianapolis at 2 p.m. (ET).

FSU will then close the weekend on Saturday with a pair of games versus Bellarmine (Ky.) and Rockhurst (Mo.) at 11 a.m. (ET) and 1 p.m. (ET), respectively.

All four weekend opponents are members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

Ferris State is currently off to a 2-2 overall start this year under second-year head coach Kristin Janes.
