Ferris State's Scheduled GLIAC Twinbill At Wayne State Wednesday Pushed Back Two Weeks

Big Rapids, Mich. - Due to weather and field conditions, the Ferris State University softball team's scheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opening doubleheader in Detroit against Wayne State has been changed.

The Bulldogs were slated to open league action versus the Warriors in the Motor City on Wednesday, but the twinbill has been pushed back two weeks. It will now be played on Thursday, April 4, in Detroit starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET) for game one with game two to follow at approximately 5:30 p.m. (ET).

With the change, the Bulldogs are now scheduled to play their first league games this coming weekend on Saturday (March 23) at Ashland starting at 1 p.m. (ET) and 3 p.m. (ET) for games one and two, respectively. The Bulldogs then are slated to visit Saginaw Valley State on Sunday (March 24) afternoon.

Ferris State last wrapped up action this past week in Florida at The Spring Games in Clermont over spring break. Bulldogs faced five top 25 teams over the week of action and finished the trip to Florida by winning four of their last six games along with five of the final nine.
