Ferris State Softball's Regional Weekend Slate Shifted To New Location

Big Rapids, Mich. - Due to unsafe and wet field conditions, the Ferris State University softball squad's Midwest Regional Crossover weekend slate has changed.

The Bulldogs, who were originally slated to travel to Evansville, Ind., this weekend for six games at the University of Southern Indiana, will now instead travel to Wesfield, Ind. The event will be hosted by the University of Indianapolis at Grand Park.

Ferris State is currently slated to play a pair of doubleheaders with two games each on both Friday (Feb. 21) and Saturday (Feb. 22). The weekend schedule remains subject to change.

The Bulldogs will take on Bellarmine (Ky.) on Friday at 1:30 p.m. (ET) before facing Southern Indiana at 3:30 p.m. (ET). FSU then is slated to face Lake Erie on Saturday at 12 p.m. (ET) before meeting Truman State (Mo.) at 2 p.m. (ET).

After this weekend's slate, the Bulldogs will head to Florida for their annual appearance in The Spring Games slated for March 7-13. FSU opens GLIAC play at home against Northwood on March 18 in Big Rapids.
