Bulldog Softball Home Doubleheader Slated For Tuesday Called Off

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University's scheduled home-opening softball doubleheader against Lewis University slated for Tuesday (March 19) has been called off and will be rescheduled due to expected weather conditions and temperatures.

The Bulldogs and the Flyers were scheduled to play a non-conference twin bill, but the two games have now been tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, April 23, at the FSU Softball Field.

With the change, the Bulldogs are next slated to take the field on Saturday (March 23) at home for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader against Saginaw Valley State. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. (ET) with game two at approximately 3 p.m. (ET).

The Bulldogs will also host Wayne State on Sunday (March 24) in Big Rapids in afternoon action.
