FSU Women's Basketball Banquet On April 8

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball team will hold its 2010-11 postseason banquet on Friday, April 8.

The annual awards banquet will take place from 5-8 p.m. (ET) inside the Wheeler Pavilion located at Top Taggart Field and will be hosted by The Zonta Club of Big Rapids along with the Sixth Dawg Booster Club.

Bulldog fans are encouraged and invited to join players, coaches and staff for the annual postseason gathering.  Adult tickets are $15 with children under the age of eight charged $5 each.  Additionally, player and coach sponsorships are available for $15 apiece.

Reservations should be made by Monday, April 4, and checks are payable to "Ferris State University".

As part of the awards banquet and team recognition event, the Bulldogs will present their 2010-11 season award recipients and recognize the senior trio of Tiara Adams (Lansing/Waverly), Andrea Clancy (Port Austin/North Huron) and Becci Houdek (Canton).

The Bulldog women's basketball squad wrapped up the 2010-11 campaign with a 13-13 overall record under 13th-year head coach Tracey Dorow.  This year marked the 14th time in the last 15 seasons the Bulldogs have registered double-digit wins in a campaign.
