Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball squad will take part in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament for the first time since 2013 as the Bulldogs travel to face Michign Tech on Wednesday (Feb. 28) night for a league quarterfinal-round game in Houghton, Mich.

The seventh-seeded Bulldogs will square off against the second-seeded Huskies at the SDC Gymnasium with tipoff slated for 5:30 p.m. (ET).

Ferris State owns a current 14-14 overall record to date this season and posted a 8-12 league record during regular-season play under head coach Kendra Faustin. The 14 wins are the school's most since reaching the NCAA Tournament in 2011-12.

Meanwhile, Michigan Tech heads into the quarterfinal round with a 23-4 overall mark and won the GLIAC North Division with a 17-3 GLIAC ledger.

Earlier this year, Ferris State took the Huskies to the wire in a 80-77 setback in Big Rapids on Jan. 11 before falling in Houghton by a 80-63 score last week (Feb. 15).

There will be no local radio coverage for the contest, but Michigan Tech will provide a live video webcast along with live internet statistics. Fans can follow all the action with links available at FerrisStateBulldogs.com or on social media via @FerrisWBBALL on twitter and facebook.
