Senior Riley Blair Gives Ferris State Fourth Consecutive GLIAC Player Of Week Award

Big Rapids, Mich. - For the fourth consecutive week, a Ferris State University women's basketball standout has earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division Player of the Week recognition as senior forward Riley Blair (Dearborn/Divine Child) claimed the distinction for the second time this week.

Blair had another huge game on Sunday (Dec. 1) as the Bulldogs rolled past visiting Lewis 88-69 in regional action at Jim Wink Arena. She scored a game-high 28 points, including 22 in the first half as FSU put the game away versus the Flyers.

The veteran senior went 12-of-14 (85.7%) from the floor and hit all four of her three-point attempts in the game while adding four rebounds, two steals and an assist in only 20 minutes of action as FSU improved to 5-1 overall this year.

It marked her second consecutive game with 27 points or more for the Bulldogs.

Blair also previously claimed the GLIAC Player of the Week honor last week and joins fellow junior guard Adrienne Anderson as a two-time recipient of the honor this season to date.

Ferris State will open GLIAC action at home against Wayne State on Thursday, Dec. 5, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m. (ET) inside Jim Wink Arena.
