Ferris State Earns Second Consecutive Victory With Road Triumph At Lewis

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball squad picked up its second consecutive victory as the Bulldogs recorded a 85-77 road win over the Lewis Flyers on Wednesday (Nov. 17) night at Neil Carey Arena in Romeoville, Ill.

The Bulldogs had five players reach double-figure scoring in the road win, led by Chloe Idon's game-high 24 points. 

FSU also got 20 points from senior guard Adrienne Anderson along with 13 points by Mallory McCartney in addition to 12 points from Zoe Anderson. Meanwhile, Kadyn Blanchard added 11 points in the triumph.

Ferris State shot only 39% from the floor, but out rebounded Lewis 43-23 for the game. FSU had 19 offensive rebounds in the victory.

Lewis shot 43.6% overall and went nine-of-18 (50%) from long range in the setback. The game featured 12 lead changes and both teams had leads of eight points or more at one stage of the game.

Ferris State will take part in the Quincy Classic this weekend in Quincy, Illinois, facing the host Hawks on Friday night along with McKendree (Ill.) on Saturday.
