Men's & Women's Golf Tournaments Called Off Due To Weather

Big Rapids, Mich. - Two scheduled tournaments to be held over the next two days involving the Ferris State University men's and women's golf teams have both been cancelled due to weather conditions.

The Bulldog women's squad, which placed seventh on Saturday in the Perry Park Spring Fling to open action this spring, was slated to compete in the Bellarmine Spring Invitational on Monday (March 25) in Louisville (Ky.), but it was cancelled.

In addition, the men's team was scheduled to start its spring campaign at the Butler Spring Invitational in Avon (Ind.), but it was also called off due to the weather.

The Bulldog women are next slated to take part in the Ohio Dominican Invite on April 7-8 in Columbus, Ohio, while the men's team will resume action this coming Sunday and Monday (March 31-April 1) at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational, which will be held in Columbus, Ind.

Both Bulldog teams are guided by head coach Mike Mignano.
