FSU's Emily Rohdy Picks Up League Weekly Honor

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University junior Emily Rohdy has claimed this week's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honor.

Rohdy tied for fifth overall in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational hosted by Bowling Green State University on Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14) in Bowling Green, Ohio.  She carded a 74 on day two after opening the event with an 82 on Saturday to finish at 156 (+12) for the tournament.

Rohdy was the second-highest non-Division I finisher in the field and was tops among all players from a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) school.  Her efforts helped the Bulldogs finish tied for eighth in a weather-challenged event that featured 11 Division I members at Stone Ridge Golf Club.

Ferris State is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 20-21, at the Northwood Invitational in Midland, Mich.
