Chilly Conditions Force Women's Golf Cancellation Of First Round At Northwood

Big Rapids, Mich. - Due to the weather conditions, the Ferris State University women's golf team's schedule has been altered for this weekend.

The Bulldogs were slated to compete in the Northwood Invitational on both Saturday and Sunday (April 20-21) in Midland, but the first round of the event was cancelled due to wind chills early on Saturday morning.

With the cancellation, the event has been shortened to 18 holes with play scheduled to begin via a shotgun start on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. (ET).

In addition to the women's golf team, the Bulldog men's golf team is also in action this weekend at the GLIAC Spring Invitational in New Albany, Ohio.  First-round play began on Saturday with the event to wrap-up on Sunday.
